Alright. Good to know that there are intelligent people at this forum.

Now, let me rephrase my last post, to accommodate those of you out there who suffer from the same mental illness (I believe it is called 'moderate stupidity') that our friend in the above post does:

What strategies would you presume I use on this boss? I have Sorya and Slade on my roster, and I have tried every different sword/pattern combination. It just doesn't seem to work. I have no idea what to do. Does anyone have strategy that could possibly help me defeat this damned golem-thing? Other than 'hit him with your sword'?

Thanks.

I thought it was a perfectly reasonable answer, m'self :}.

I usually use a Rhue-Midian-Sacrifa-Slade party. Midian attacks and stuff, Sacrifa just draws and heals and puts up auras and whatnot, and Rhue and Slade can do either, really. Although I generally try to save them for attacking if at all possible.

I don't remember enough about Core to give a better strategy idea though.

Put all your effort on putting up all three of Sacrifa's protective aura's. Use Rhue and Sacrifa to heal, And simply bash the Core with your other characters, Slade's Health Transfer is VERY useful so be sure to shift his aura to Civil Servant as soon as you can. If you have Lexus, Use Rhue and Slade to help her cast Wellspring and the other spell that gives the whole party XL every turn, If you have Midian, Just bash the thing like a madman, I never truly used Sorya. Anyway, I hope Ive helped.

Make Rhue use Hatassar, he is weak to Cosmic. Core also seems to be immune to Prone, but weak to every other condition. Rhue's and Sorya's double attack should also prove useful.

I believe Lexus' thorn of passion or whatever is pretty much your strongest attack possible if your Lexus points are high enough (if the relationship is good). Just XL shift to her and use oasis, then thorn of passion as much as possible, while Sacrifa runs healing.

Thorns of Passion is too strong,I do not use it because it is just not fun playing when all you need to do to win a battle it use Slade and Rhue to pump XL to Lexus while Sacrifa heals.

It's right, you can't deny it!

Thank you. I appreciate it. All of your posts were very helpful (excluding the last two, of course). Unfortunately, I don't have Lexus, so it looks as if I may have to use Sarcasm's Civil Servant strategy if necessary.

Core probably isn't that tough in the long run, but I don't think I utilized my characters' each seperate abilities to their fullest.

Thanks again, everyone.

P.S. I'm sure you are very sexy, Iteroth. :P
