Mother & Child. Episode 2 help needed.

I'm playing through the older episodes again, and I'm up to the Marna Stretch in Episode 2. I think I've done everything except Jabbo's guide mentions talking to a Mother and Child in the Upper Left corner of the map. I can only find the Mother though, is this vital in anyway?

The child is with the settlers in the settlers/Guided side quest thing. I think the kid only goes back if you help the guided.

I've never tried helping the settlers. I suppose you get the child back on both choices.

No, the child stays with the settlers if you help them.

I chose to go with the guided on this one, I thought that helping the child was the best of choices. Even though it involved killing settlers, though it seemed like they acutally were highwaymen.

If I remember correctly, you find out that they in fact ARE highwaymen if you help them.

Yeah, if you help the Guided you can get a key of the settler leader that opens chests with a blan rock and a lyn rock.

Yeah, after helping the 'settlers/highwaymen' I found it quite odd the fact that they clung on to that little kid. Very suspicious.

mmhhh did anybody see that on episode 4 (i think) the girl helping out gaius is the one from the guided so makes me wonder if you try to help the settler and if at the end the guided die (never helped de setlers) well where could gaius get his info and who would mess with lilah (wife of sacrifa)??

Actually, I've never done that. The one time I helped the highwaymen was the first playthrough and then I re-played it once Episode 4 got released. I can't really remember if you actually kill her though.

The other guided are killed, but Velicia runs away and tells Rhue something like he'll be sorry when they next meet. Doesn't have any imoact on the story, though.
