"The Way" book. Anyone heard of it?

Postby Toolophile » Thu May 18, 2006 2:08 am

I just watched a show on the davinci code, I'm not really into that, but that's not what this thread's about. In it, they make reference to a book by a pretty reknowned christian from the days of old, but in my foolishness I didn't catch the author's name and google's book search isn't getting me anywhere. Anyone ever hear of this?

There are quite a few books by quite a few renowned Christians from dayss of old (Thomas Aquinas, Thomas More, St. Augustine, et al) . Anything more specific?

The title or the book is actualy "The Way."

That's it though, nothing like "The Way of our savior" or "The Way: Living in peace with god" or anything like that. That's why it jumped out at me.

I should probably mention that "followers of The Way" was the original name for Christians until around 60 AD .

This name is based on the time when Jesus calls himself "The Way, The Truth, and The Life."

It's in st. Luke. You just have to read between the lines.

Finaly, after searching for what seemed like forever, I found it.

So, the book wasn't that ancient after all. Notice the cover, though. I will be looking deeper into this novel, for sure.

That's 'cos it's not there.
But let's not turn this into a religous debate.
