Glad it could help some, if you have any more questions about the game a few of us are still around to answer.

Hi X-Calibar,

Glad you've found The Way, more people need to be able to enjoy such a wonderful game.

Making the evil/angry choices will usually lose you 'Rhue points'. As far as I'm aware, they don't really affect much at all, except some dialogue at the end (maybe in other places too, I'm not sure). Personally, I prefer the outcome when the Rhue relationship variable is positive, so I wouldn't take the 'evil' route. But if you do so, I don't think you'll really notice a difference. It certainly doesn't add or take away anything from the game as a whole. By all means though, play through it again, its more than worth it. Hell, I needed the second time 'round; Chapter 6 made absolutely no sense to me on my first playthrough.

As far as fangame projects go, I believe someone was working on a Plunge game at some point. I don't know if that ever saw the light of day, though. Other than that, nothing comes to mind. Maybe you could do something :P

May the Purpose guide you.

There was also an attempt on another site to do voice acting for the game, topics here:
http://voiceactingalliance.com/board/sh ... INE-FEB-1!!

There seemed to be a good amount of interest in it at first, but it looks like it fell apart since then.

Most choices that effect relationship points with people just have subtle effects on later dialogue and stuff. The end of EP6 actually has a good bit of variance to it depending on your relationship with Kloe. Other important ones are Lexus obviously, and Sorya if you care about getting her in EP6. (They need to be low enough that you kill her in EP5, but high enough that she still wants to join you in EP6)

A Blurred Line (It might be Tier 2 by the time I finish it...)

Haha, good luck 'finishing' it.

Ah, and I didn't know even Tranziun had relationship points..! I was disagreeing with his choices in the beginning since he was stranger back then... Who would have known..!

Basically every character has points, I'm not sure if Traziun's do anything at all though.

if you know any game I should try, tell me!

Get Three The Hard Way.

This. Three the Hard Way is a quality game. Its been awhile since I played it and tbh I can't remember much about it at all, so I guess that doesn't say much about its storyline. But from what I recall... It was very long, had good characters, and humorous dialogue.

Oh my... I see, there is apparently a new part supposed to be for RPGmaker XP... not released yet ><;
Agggh!

Yeah, that never happened. There has been no visible or really even any claimed progress on ABL since around 2003. Any actual evidence of the rmxp version was from an april fool's prank awhile back.

Sunset Over Imdahl was another good rm2k game. The graphics were all hand drawn if i remember correctly, no combat, pretty short. It involved time traveling to different seasons to try and save the city from a siege.

Or if Lexus had lived...

If you look in the code, it was originally written so if you had max Lexus points she would live, but that was scrapped, probably for the best. Also wouldn't make much sense that a better relationship would make her choose a different hallway lol.

I've had that game sitting around on my computer for awhile, but I never played it. If there's a remake coming out soon I guess I may as well wait for that.

I just started playing a relatively new rm2k3 game called Forever's End. So far, the storyline seems very cliche but I like it. The puzzles are easy from what I've seen, but I think its meant to be a simple game. The mapping looks great, the battle system is fun, and while I haven't played long enough to see much development in/between the characters, they are scripted well, and I am interested in what will happen to them next. I think I read somewhere that the game has about 15-20 hours of content. So you may/may not want to check that out.

And while I haven't played Sunset over Imdahl, I've only heard good things about it.

While on the topic of Three The Hard Way, I should plug my* in progress guide on the gaming forum here. If you or anyone else starts playing the game, check out the guide, tell me how it is, anything I'm currently missing/needs improvement. Or just yell at me to work on the next section.

*Its mine in the sense that I'm the only one currently doing any work on it, even if it seems like no one is.

Oh hey guys, it's been a while!

Sorry that I never did finish my guide for this game. It's something that always bothered me a little. I mean, I haven't been drinking myself into a stupor or anything, but I think people who were using my walkthrough would have benefited from some direction about the end of Episode 6. I'm sure they found what they needed in the help forum, though.

It's been a while since I played through The Way, though it still remains one of my favorite RPGs in both story and gameplay. Not really sure where I was going with that to be honest, but yeah. Good times.

Random side note, I remember a few years ago when my friend was playing through the game, I wrote a program to find the optimal solutions for that nightmare lightbulb puzzle in Episode 6. The real solutions are nowhere near as complicated as I'd expected.

Anyway, I suppose I just wanted to make a post here after all this time. I doubt there's much demand for a finished guide at this point, or that I'd do it anyway, so I probably won't bother with it even if/when I do play through again. Such is life.

I'll agree that most of the people using the walkthrough would could've used some extra guidance through the end of Episode 6, but it's pretty extensive already. Most if not all of the extra content, including the Lexus sidequest is covered and the main storyline is pretty straightforward from there on i.e. defeat the core, head on to the tower and so on, but it would be absolutely incredible if all the other secrets and items could be found on the single place. I mean, it's pretty hard to find anything on the forums about hidden stuff like the extra boss in The Pits in Episode (which you fight by standing in the middle of one of the summoning circles for about a minute) or the title defense plunge, also in Episode 6 (which can be found by defeating the champion, triggering a conversation on the steps of the Pnoe, and then opting to plunge at the casino).

I highly recommend Sunset Over Imdahl.
