What, Star Ocean 3 not make your list Strayed? Does it actually get good after the first 16 hours, like I've heard?

4) Secret of Mana

3) Viewtiful Joe/Devil May Cry (Equals)

2) Ogre Battle 64 (If you have not played this game, you suck or you can't find it. If you can't find it, my condolences)

1) Deus Ex *Drool*

Honorable Mentions: Lufia II (roxor), Secret of Mana 2 (not as much customization), Diablo II (LOD), Starcraft Brood Wars, Starfox (SNES), Tales of Phantasia, Shinobi (PS2), Time Crisis 2&3.

2) Nancy Drew and the Case of the Missing Marble Statue (Gold Edition)

hmm...lets see.

1. Chrono Trigger
2. Classic Mario games (who DIDN'T love those?)
3. Final Fantasy 7
4. Tales of Symphonia
5. Super Mario RPG

yeah, i loved thems. now I've beaten Chrono Trigger over 30 times, if I had to guess. So now I really dislike playing the game. But that doesn't mean it wasn't one of my top faves.

Most favorite tied between BoF2 and Chrono Trigger
Tales of Phantasia (god bless that adult humor)
Tales of Symphonia
halo/ Splinter Cell: Pandora Tomorrow (Torn between newfound love of stealth and tactics vs shoot the crap outta anything that moves)

*looks at other lists*
Heh, Terranigma...I remember I thought " Alright! I'm on the last tower! This is really short! My friend said it took way longer...heh loser........!!!!! wha? *realizes now I should've seen it coming*

Oh yeah, BTW: I have a compressed file (Winzip) of a bunch of funny screenshots from ToP. If you want me to send you them, catch me when I'm signed on AIM or just email a request to me.

Star Ocean III would barely make top 15 RPGs for me... compared to ToS the battle system was boring and most of the dungeons were a little too tedious.

Go figure.

I also have the complete ToS soundtrack, and the um... adult... comic... based around it.

Still need to play Star Ocean 3. It will be release September 29th in Europe and I'll be buying it on that very day.

As for my top 5 (positions 3-5 change on a day to day basis though) :

1) Xenosaga Episode I : Der Wille Zur Macht
2) Final Fantasy VII
3) Final Fantasy IX
4) Chrono Cross
5) Kingdom Hearts

Wait... what? Strayed was complimenting ToS's battle system too. Unless "blast" is meant to be derogatory.
