I chose that excerpt for two reasons: I have put you in a position to either accept my generous apology, or I have just provoked you once again. Either will show your personality. From your views, I am Jack, petty, witty, and manipulative. I, however, simply wish to end this. The second reason I chose this quote is the consequence of this action. Ralph ignores it, believing himself correct. He eventually reverts to the savagry which he despised and the entire group of boys turns on him and nearly kills him with their bare hands.

By making this sincere, I aim to show the other forum members that I honestly don't care for this bickery. Assuming they do, this puts you in a position which I made in hopes to force a truce, because your petty remarks are getting quite bothersome, as are my own, no doubt. Sadly, a private message does not have this same affect, so this is what you and I forced upon eachother. Therefore, since I believe both parties must agree for a truce to form, I apologize for my rude behavior. I certainly hope you were simply quite perterbed by my comments and jeers, and I hope that you would validate my apology by responding with another, all harm done and gone. Sadly, if you believe yourself to be a victim and me the attacker, then I am terribly sorry you are under that illusion.
