The gold saucer is the best place, in fact that is where you get Cloud's final limit break and heaps of other cool shit. Plus, you have to go back there later on in disc 1 and you get stuck there for a while because the cable car breaks down. Don't diss the gold saucer just because you didn't like getting put in the corel prison, thankfully, you never go there again.

pfft! I didnt hate it because of that! In fact the prison was much better than that stoopid game place ever was!
I spend 30000 gil oon a lifetime pass (and have 500gil left) I then up there and I have to pay to save. "ok, oh wait I have no GP"... I go to the games to earn some GP I spend 200gil and earn 3 GP on the virtual fighter... then spend another 200gil on the basketball game which I miss... "Oh fuck I cant buy anything else and I dont even have enough GP to fucking save!!!!! That does it I'm so outta here!!!"
... not to mention the battle event thingy didnt work... I hate that place.

My Gforce 4 Ti 4800 doesn't work properly on FFVII because it fails the 8-bit texture thingy, DOES ANYONE KNOW HOW TO FIX IT WITHOUT USING SOFTWARE RENDERING?

Well i'm sorry, but getting halfway through disc 1 in less than a week without a walkthrough is not very plausible.

WHAT AM I DOING WRONG?!?!?!?!
I'm trying to open this safe in the mansion in Clouds hometown, the one which says "I have a bad feeling about this" and then you choose to open it anyway and you have 20 seconds to do it.
I found all the clues, even that sneaky bitchy one that was invisible (like in ff8 when you want to get buhumat) and the FUCKING SAFE STILL WONT OPEN!!!!!

I tried entering: 36, 10, 59, 97 and it doesnt work.
I tried entering: 36, 26 (as in 36 turned left 10 times), 85 (as in 26 turned right 59 times), 82 (as in 85 turned right 97 times)
I cant think of any other possible combination and I cant open it!!!...
...and if you do reply then don't tell me whats in it, I figure it must be a powerful creature or boss and a good item like a summon materia or an advanced weapon.


ahhhhh... nevermind. I figured out that you have to get exactly on the numbers... i.e. you cant go to far then back up a step.....
...and you get odin and the key to Vincent.. Sweet...
Who's beter? Vincent or Barret?

Personally I choose Vincent because his Magic is kick-ass if you focus on it and also his Limit breaks are brilliant. Only used Barrent in one play through though. Always Tifa Cloud and Vincent.

Yeah I was planning on doing that..... Vincent, Sephiroth, Cloud (in KH)... they all kick ass/look sweet and they all have capes...

Any tips or advice on getting 32000 points in that battle arena? I keep getting killed in the 7th battle by the Malboro.
Maybe I should come back when Cloud is a Higher lvl.

Hey wait! If I sent Vincent in to fight with his limit up full and used it, wouldnt he be like that the whole time? I think he would kick ass if I sent him in with his second form, I dont like the 3rd form much and I havnt got his final form yet.

Make sure Cloud has a Ribbon equipped, it would be a good idea to do this when you have "Knights Of Round" summon, and the "Ultima Weapon"
equipped.

So it would probably be a good idea to wait until Disc 3, because you get alot of EXP and AP in the "North Crater".

Vincent and his limits sucks!! What the point in no controling (read: no healing) crappy-lookin' freak, who hits 400, when you hit 300?? His lv4 limlt suck too! Barett hits almost 70000 and Vincent - 9999. See the difference? 4x cut hit 40000 and Vinc - 9999! It's stupidiest limit!!

Exactly! Vincent has crack aim and a cape. Put that with the fact that his clothes (or cape I cant see right now) are red and you realise he resembles 'Vash the Stampede'.

Pfft. I don't like the arena, that stupid slot thing as basically all luck. Like 5 minutes ago I finished battle 8 with full health, half MP, and I only ever got frog, poison and mini put on me and they're easy to remove. On the other hand about 9 minutes ago I ended up with 1/8 health and 1/4 MP, and about 15 minutes ago I got items and ALL OF MY FUCKING MATERIA disabled.
I lose about 4 out of 5 times right now (Cloud just came out of his coma) but earning GP is easy because all of my ALL materia just got to the MASTERED status and I just sell them for 1.4 mil gil then buy GP from that weird guy who hides near the entrance of the golden saucer.

Vincent has a weapon with 255 accuracy. Meaning with Death Blow it doesn't miss. He is the best. Ever. I prefer him to Cloud.
