Those are good questions of which i cant seem to find any answer, maybe estrana had an aura too, but thats unlikely...
Either way, if the Rhue is not the mimic, we have 2 mimic like characters, which is unlikely too, so rhue should be the mimic.

Shouldn't really be unlikely, I mean if you think about it.

Facts about shadow swords and the effects they have on the wielder.

1. Shadow swords bsorb auras.
2. Shadow swords seriously fuck up the wielders self-cognition, causes split personality and stuff like that.
3. There are more than one shadow sword.
4. Wielders of shadow swords do not age.

So, in consideration of this, there could be more than one person living a lie like Rhue.

Also, why DID Rhue slash at the sword under Lide?

Seems a bit farfetched for me, but the only reason I can think of is this:

His original personality is still somewhere in there, with the mixed jamble of auras. The one he was born with, that personality realizes what shadow swords do and does not want that power or the effects to be dawned upon another. So he slashes it away.

Of course all the kura thing falls if kavax is not kava, but if kavax is kava then rhue is kura for sure:
Kava is in dream estrana.
To be in dream estrana your aura must be absorbed by the sword.
the one who killed kava was kura.
So...
Unless rhue passed by when kura killed kava... Rhue was once Kura.

Or he only thought he was Kura.

It seems more likely that Rhue has a Shadow Sword, but did anyone ever think maybe he has an Illumineti? There was only one left, the swords of "Perfect Justice." One could think that is why...

A: The Phantom Slasher never harmed children
B: He couldn't hurt Gaius
C: He attacked a KNOWN Shadow Sword (Episode 2).
D: Traziun was able to "Destroy" it by making it feel regret on killing an innocent.
E: Gaius wants it. Best weapon for a "Perfect Blade of Justice" would be an Illuminite, and there is only one left....

But that asks questions...
A: Why does it absorb auras?
B: Why does he live excedingly long?
C: Why does he have the flaw (Split personalities) of the Shadow Swords?

What do you think? Shadow Sword or Illuminite?

His sword has both sides to it, the shadow sword Phantom slasher, and the illuminati Actura.

Read Lumino's post, it seems to be a sword of justice, but at the same time a shadow sword. I thought it was a mix of the two or something else from the start, but even after ep 6 we really can't tell, all we know is that the sword was destroyed when traz stabbed himself.

But wait...Maybe The Way wasn't about Rhue, Gaius or any of them.

It was the story of the destruction of the last of the Sacred Swords of Justice that fought Lord Below. Now with nothing left to hold his unrivaled power in check he rises to destroy the way! Traziun you fool what have you done?!

Good eh?

Personalities and bodies we need to place:

-Jeruh.
-Midian.
-The Rhue we play as.
-The Rhue that says "I have no end".

-We're sure that he has been Jeruh, because that fits with all stories.
-It's likely that he has been Midian, for a short time at least, since that fits with the headhunter thing, and his last statement when he kills Jeruh.
-The Rhue we play as, wants what Jeruh wants, but he is still a different aura then Jeruh, because we actually meet Jeruh in The City.
-The Rhue that says "I have no end", acts different from the normal Rhue, and seems even more powerful than what he was in The City AND what he was when he killed Jeruh.

Now, some suggest that he is The Mimic, who also could be the son of The Lord Below, because is said to assume other people's personalities.

But, for Rhue, it's the shadow sword that makes the whole personality stealing thing, so that doesn't really fit with him being the mimic.

But, that could sum up one theory of Rhue's original personallity as: he is Kura. And Kura is The Mimic and the Mimic is Venge, who is the son of the Lord Below. If so, then the Lexus ending, could actually be an Evil Ending. But I don't think so. He could be Kura, but I still think it's too thin for him to be Mimic.

Oh, and I was thinking. Jeruh finds a Shadow Sword. But when Rhue kills Jeruh, does he take Jeruhs Shadow Sword? I mean, we see a flash of light, and then Jeruh's sword disappears. So, did Rhue get Jeruh's sword, or did Rhue kill him with a Shadow Sword of his own? If so, what happened to Jeruh's Sword?

Aren't we forgetting the Nameless One? I'm sure he was mention in some bookcases or somewhere, but I can't find them right now.

If Jeruh had a Shadow Sword, and Rhue hit him with his Illuminiti, the Shadow Sword would have...wait a minute..wait a damn minute....What if....ok Tangent here.

Suppose:

RHUE Origninally had a Shadow Sword, back when (And if) he was Kura. He would never age, absorb souls, and such. Likewise when he killed Midian, he grabs his aura, and Midian takes some form of control. BUT. Jeruh had an Illuminti. And when the two swords clashed in that flash of light, they merged, creating a blade that had aspects of BOTH swords, explaining the problems with earlier posts, and why Jeruh's sword disappears. RHUE would still be ageless, but still has many of the side effects of that Shadow Sword, maybe it made a sword that wanted justice, but wanted to kill, so it judged people too highly, and killed all offenders. The only thing safe were children because they didn't have the capacity for evil. When Rhue slept, the sword created it's own Avatar, the Phantom Slasher, to do it's will. It's got holes, I'll admit. But it's an interesting theroy.

But kids do have the capacity of evil. Jeruh.

I doubt Jeruh had an Illuminati. He didn't quite use it to kill evil people. They were just bullying him. Then of course, one could ask, how much does it take, before you are counted as evil?

If what Midian said about Serena was true, she could be counted as evil. Taking the gift from Jeruh and just ignoring him, I think that's the games way of telling us they were old enough to choose.

And maybe the desire for justice is amplified by the wielder? Jeruh hated the kids, so the sword was amplified by that hatred, turning a spark of evil into a roaring flame?

I really duuno.

Hmm I just realized something... if Rhue was once Kura, Kura is roaming dream estrana too, as rhue was once midian and midian still hangs around.
Of course, the fact that we dont see him cant be used to assume that he's not there, but if he's not there we can assume rhue wasnt Kura.
However, if rhue wasnt kura, we cant explain kava's existance in dream estrana, because we know the one who killed him was kura, not rhue.

Concerning the swords, nice theory, i might want to add up that it wasnt able to hurt the harbringer either... Is the harbringer suposed to be evil or good?
