Please stop thinking that everyone lies...
To me, the only person that lies is the Phantom Slasher when he tells rhue that the PS is serena.

We know that rhue was midian for sure, if not, how do you explain the headhunter calling him midian?

I just kind of want to note too that however the swords having seemingless evil names, they can be interpreted too as evil's bane:

Phantom Slasher- A phantom that Slashes or One who Slashes Phantoms
Night Reaper- Night that reaps or One who Reaps the Night
Ghost Horror- Ghost that is an Horror or One who is the Horror of Ghosts

I don't think the Phantom Slasher really lied. He was correct that going into the tower would kill Rhue and Serena, at least how they existed in "Rhue's" mind. With a little creative interpretation, you could probably also prove the PS to really be Serena (the one that Jeruh created, anyway.)

I suppose I didn't want to acknowledge that Rhue probably killed Midian because he had his Aura, probably, because the Headhunter knew him. But of course, the sword doesn't have to kill someone to absorb the aura, so perhaps Rhue didn't kill Midian, just absorbed his dying aura. Or wounded aura. Slade wasn't dead when the sword absorbed his aura... but, the sword was kinda stuck in his chest.

Slade's aura was absorbed when rhue passed by him, after he killed cetsa. Rhue states that slade is dead, ignoring the stabbed cetsa.

Well. I commented this in the other topic. God, this is confusing with several topics.

Anyway. I'm going to bed. Don't discuss too much, so that I can't keep up tommorow! :)

Well yes, he didn't lie when he said that it would be rhue and serena's end, however he lied, when he said that serena was the phantom slasher, at least, it was his intention to confuse rhue, so he could hide the truth.
he said what rhue wanted to hear to hide the truth, which is in a way, lying.

Alright, if Kura is Rhue, then where's Kura in Rhue's mind? I thought that was a former dominant aura.

because he could sense auras. Well, we dont have any proof of this, its jsut a theory. This goes along with Midian being the headhunter you killed, and seeing how they all look the same the hedhunter wouldnt know what Midian looked like. I used to like this theory, but now its looking less and less likely.

Interesting that you mention that.

One thing I'm surprised hasn't come up despite all the talk of Kava and Kura is that someone in an earlier episode said Kavakura. I don't remember who, where, or with what meaning. I think it was used as some sort of expression as well.

Even if Aubuta is just an expression, it may also have some meaning behind it.

What if Rhue was originally Kura? Just because he's switched about his auras one or two times doesn't mean he's done it thousands of times. And even so, Kava and Kura's legend took place quite a long time ago, so there was plenty of time for that anyway.

On the topic of Aubuta, maybe Aubuta is some sort of extremely ancient legend that was being circulated at the time Kalmar still looked like his actual age, and that his expletives didn't keep up with the times as he continued to stay alive for thousands of years.

That was Cetsa when she saw Rhue right before she was suppose to be executed.

Gaius = Eyashu (since he DID find out the truth about the end of the way, and Tetzel would certainly want him dead.)

Exept Scatha and Dirk know Eyashu, I think they would know if it was him.

Its been mentioned, Cetsa said it alot.

I've said this before too.

If Kura was the original aura, I dont think you'd see him. It seems that the other auras "corrupt" the original aura in way, they dont complety switch. Some are more powerful. Rhue has some of Jeruh, Midian, Jed, and others memories right now, yet we see them all in Dream Estrana. Rhue would still have the original aura of Kura, its just so completly scewed by now almost nothings left.

However, the headhunter identified rhue as midian by his FACE, at least, it seems implied in the conversation.

My theory is that Rhue is Midian. Becuase in Dream
Estrana in Ep 6 he says something like this to Jeruh. "I've been
hunting you ever since so I trained with the sword."
That wold explain the Headhunter thing and why
Rhue and Gaius where chasing Jeruh. Well, I don't
know, only Lun knows the real truth about Rhue.
In this day and age, an era where there are people who actually throw shit at each other, anything, could be possible.

Could have been he just absorbed Midian's aura as well Sling. The headhunter might have thought it was him based off of his mannerisms or language.
